Trendafila Trendafilova - Persefi Eskes was born on 11.16.1989.For a short period of her development way of live, she has studied architecture, but the desire to deploy more inspiration and freedom of expression means, led her to painting and visual arts. Experimental - synth music and poetry are also some of her expressions dedicated to her art. Trendafila's work is a depiction of her artistic transformation, an experimental self-expression through color, line and form, inspired by the presence of surrounding objects and humans. Colors and shapes are muscular and seem to explode from the canvas’ natural borders, all in a bi-dimensional representation that flattens reality down into a postcard of emotions. Their emotional reflection, in combination with the space of the here and now, the minimalism of time, explores a longing for experimentation and deformation of consciousness, color and vibration. Future projects will be a discovery-interpretation combining these three basic directions in her work. For now lives and works in  city Sofia, Bulgaria.

A short interview by Erika Belavy  for http://www.riotart.co/

1. What made you decide to become an artist?

....Every tiny pure beauty around, which leaves in me feeling and scent, who make my soul every time to explode with delight . Just this feeling has led subsequently to express this explosion of the senses through art....

2. Tell us more about your creative process. What inspires you?

.....The creative process calls The sacred time of transportation and grounding invisible and divine to the human visible level. My paintings are a mirror of my underworld and personal revelation. The nature sounds, the silence of the subjects, the lack of the human presence, while I have the knowledge that it has somewhere, are my big inspirations for art....

3. What do you want to accomplish with your work? How are you doing this?

...I don't need to achieve something specifically in my work. I leave the natural process of creating to be my guide, the process dictates the outcome. I just need to accomplish only the truth into my canvas...

4. If you had a superpower, what would it be?

...If I have a superpower ,. I will unlocked the divine potential of every human being .. and sent them on a trip into space, to see and figure all this crazy chaos which they created on the Earth...

Color is my favorite shape of all senses. You can recognize my art by the colors, they are the elements I find best for expressing my true inner self. The way a certain color comes out is indivisibly linked to my personal and current perception of time and space. One of the best ways, I’ve found, to see the true meaning of a given color is to first look for the peculiar relation between nature and the clarifications arts can bring to your life sometimes. To me color marks a value in somewhat of a universal and fundamental way.My art is always changing, nevertheless it seems to sustain one kind of expressive forms. It changes towards my own fine condition of vibrating and living -  here and now. I don't need to achieve something specifically in my work. I leave the natural process of creating to be my guide, the process dictates the outcome. I only need to accomplish the truth onto my canvas.

Artist statement

I like to get to know better my source of art, ideas and revolution. Up until now my art has been a depiction of my artistic transformation, an experimental self-expression through color, line and form, inspired by the presence of surrounding objects and humans. It triumphs in a world of illusions and non-being just to land in the realm of the being and be accessible to the senses. The silent presence of objects devoured of their meaning and usage, their emotional reflection in combination with the space here and now, the minimalism of time, that creates them, are sensations and a longing for experiment and deformation of consciousness, color and vibration. What thrills me are the topics relying to people’s intimacy, their sexual connection and the erotic element, which is what I would like to display in my future projects of “surrnaivistic “scenes with abstract visualization.
